Helping young people manage their mental health.

Who We Are?

Our story

Julian was a smart, intelligent and talented young man. As Julian got older his behaviour began to change and he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder which sadly led to him taking his own life in 2007. After experiencing this traumatic loss Julian’s sister, Jacqueline, started to question what services could have been available that might have changed the outcome.

As an ex school teacher she knew education was important and schools would be a great place to start, so in 2009 the Julian Campbell Foundation (JCF) was born and in 2011 we became a registered charity.

Since then Jacquiline has built JCF into what it is today by developing and delivering training for mentors, teachers and drama facilitators and building relationships within the local community to change the lives of young people.
